Well, we’re off!  Through the next few weeks we will be Easin’ Along through the Heartland of the United States.  As we write this first post we just arrived in St. Louis after a fun night in Clarksville, TN near Ft. Campbell – home of the 101st Airborne.

Hopefully there will be some time to post updates as we make our way through some beautiful country. We will also post our usual update every Friday.  In addition, please check out the Easin’ Along Facebook page for information as to our whereabouts. Our journey will take us through MN, the Dakotas, WI, IL, and around the shoreline of Michigan up to Mackinaw Island. We’re pumped!  Join us again soon.

You can handle the pace…we’re just Easin’ Along.Logo square

    1. Thanks much. We are having a wonderful time on the road less traveled. We visited old friends on a smallish lake near Grey Eagle, MN and the quiet surroundings were both beautiful and calming. We’ve made it through Grand Forks, ND which was very pretty and interesting, then to International Falls, MN. There was a bass fishing festival going on and we joined right in. Now in Bayfield, WI and Apostle Island National Lakeshore. Incredible beauty and charming town. Thanks for reading and stay tuned, we will cover it all.

  1. Ohmigosh–Apostle Islands and Bayfield too–I’ve been to both. The aforementioned Minneapolis friends are avid sailors. One may sail cruise or be involved with sailboat races or both. Yes, beautiful. I’m still searching for That One Photograph I haven’t located of a return from an Apostle Islands trail just as the sun set in the distance behind our anchored sailboat (about 35′).

    1. Please check back to Easin’ Along in the weeks to come. We will cover all of our visit to Bayfield and the Apostle Islands in future articles. We had a wonderful time boating around the magnificent rock structures on the shore of Lake Superior, and Bayfield is a charming town. Thanks for visiting Easin’ Along and hope you’ll come back.
